Billy Joel

Carnegie Hall, New York, NY, June 3, 1977

In early 1977, Billy Joel was looking for a producer for his now legendary album, "The Stranger." He asked The Beatles producer George Martin, but Martin declined. Next on the list was Phil Ramone. Before agreeing, Ramone went to see a Billy Joel concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City. It was June 3, 1977. He was blown away, and went on to produce the album! Turns out, this was the best possible combination- for both men.

This weekend, we'll listen to that influential concert that convinced Phil Ramone. It's obviously a spectacular performance, and we're sure you're going to love it!

Don’t miss music legend Billy Joel! He's headlining this weekend’s Live in Concert.
