The Who

Pontiac Silverdome, Pontiac, MI, December 7, 1979

The 1979 “Who Are You” tour was a difficult time for The Who. They were touring for the first time without original drummer Keith Moon, who had tragically died months earlier.

When they played at Riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati on December 3rd, tragedy struck again when 11 concert goers lost their lives after being trampled on after the doors to the venue opened. The band was shaken to its core, but somehow carried on.

Four nights later, they took the stage at the Pontiac Silverdome in the suburbs of Detroit, and put on this truly legendary performance. For The Who, and for their fans, the healing came through their powerful music.

Don’t miss this legendary performance by The Who! They’re headlining Live in Concert!
