In the early 80's, Billy Joel had established some success. He was about to become a legend.

Albums like "Piano Man," "The Stranger," and "52nd Street," laid the groundwork for a promising career. When MTV came along and showcased his latest album, "The Nylon Curtain," Billy Joel's career skyrocketed. No longer was a theater a big enough venue for gigs. He had graduated to selling out full size sports arenas.

On this broadcast of Live in Concert, we'll take you back to Billy Joel's "The Nylon Curtain" tour, and listen to a legendary performance on his home turf! It was captured live on December 29, 1982, at the former home of the New York Islanders- the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, in Uniondale, New York. Billy Joel took the stage in front of family, friends, fans, and neighbors and delivered epic renditions of his classic hits.
